There was no mistaking the identity of the small-block Chevy fielded by John Lahone under JL Reliable engines, especially with the BES Racing valve cover decals and the entire BES Racing crew at work. Lahone is a top engine man at BES Racing. If this carbed Chevy proved anything, it's that the carburetor guys couldn't cry about an unfair advantage with EFI, especially with the convincing Second Place finish in the standings.
