Beneath the throttle body, you'll find a water line that provides heated coolant to properly reference engine temperature during startup. This line must be disconnected, but it shouldn't cause a mess. When disconnected, it will be the highest point in the coolant system and since the engine is cool, there's no pressure in the system.
